Arsène Wenger: Mkhitaryan, Özil can play together
Arsenal eased their way past Watford 3-0 in the Premier League on Sunday, marking their first clean sheet in 12 league matches and settling nerves at the Emirates after a string of losses so far this year.
Gunners fans everywhere - and no doubt the players too - recalled the Watford forward's scathing attack on the club after his side's 2-1 victory at Vicarage Road back in October.
It was a good day for Mesut Ozil and Petr Cech, the latter becoming the first goalkeeper to keep 200 clean sheets, after he saved a penalty in the match.
It was the veteran's 200th clean sheet in the Premier League and Wenger paid tribute. On top of that he saved a penalty today. "It's quite fortunate it was against Deeney on top of that".
"His situation shows how football is, in one week he has gone from hell to heaven". But, I would like to personally congratulate him for a remarkable achievement.

Asked whether the Deeney comments had fired up the players, Wenger said: "You can not be a football player without pride. Of course it plays a part". "We took only 18 games to get nine clean sheets at the start of the season and since then we've had to wait 11 games which is sometimes frustrating".
Arsenal picked up the pace again and returning Mkhitaryan's earlier assist, Aubameyang supplied the cross to give the Armenia worldwide his first league goal for Arsenal. He should have had a goal as well as an assist against Watford but was denied by the legs of Orestis Karnezis.
Wenger made six changes to the side that beat AC Milan on Thursday night in the San Siro.
'We had a nightmare week so we have some work to do but overall we are in a good way.
We knew we're on a hard run at the moment, we had to look at ourselves and we had a big result in midweek in Milan and I felt we carried the determination into today. But we dealt well with the set-pieces.
"In the end it was a convincing win", he said after claiming three points. It gets us out of a negative spiral [after] a tough week.
Conte happy with Hazard in false nine role
The gaffer hints that he trusts the two forwards but refused to guarantee them a place in the starting line-up against Palace. We have to improve in personality, especially when there is a lot of pressure from our opponent.
