Jurassic World Alive brings dinosaurs to life in Pokemon Go-like game

Jurassic World Pokemon Go-Like AR Mobile Game Announced
The game is now looking for pre-registrations, promising an in-game "incubator" as a reward; presumably to develop dinosaurs.
Although not a hyper-local type of story, we covered the Pokemon Go fad quite a bit when it first launched because of its immediate impact on our public parks and streets in Orlando - there were people in them.
As explained by the developers at Ludia, "Players will be able to discover dinosaurs by locating them on a map and deploying an in-game drone to collect DNA samples". That is to say that it lets players roam the streets and find AR- projected wild dinosaurs that can be captured via an undisclosed gameplay method.
There's no solid release date for this title beyond "coming soon", but hopefully the end result includes at least one instance of a player being surrounded by a pair of augmented reality Velociraptors when they venture outside. Those who will go for it, an in-game incubator awaits them at the time of the game launch.
They will also be able to snap a photo with their favorite dinosaurs, level up the beasts they capture, and, they will be able to battle them with other players.
Ludia is the ideal company to develop a Jurassic game for iOS and Android.
No? Just us? Well, anyway, it's been more than a year since Pokemon Go exploded onto the scene and influenced a whole new trend of AR-based games, such as the upcoming Walking Dead, Harry Potter, and Ghostbusters experiences, but this latest one is probably one of the most exciting. "We are thrilled to once again work with Ludia and think this will be the biggest and most exciting game in the franchise yet!" Being released on iOS and Android, later this spring, Jurassic WorldAlive conveniently lines its release particularly close to the debut of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
