Kevin Love #0 of the Cleveland Cavaliers shoots a technical foul shot against the Golden State Warriors.

"Having the locker right next to me and being next to him on the bus, he's been that sounding board for me", Love said of Frye. The stigma of mental health - that, because it's invisible it's not real - is one that must be combated. 'I didn't even know if they were real.

Love was taken to the hospital during a November 5 loss to the Atlanta Hawks with what he described at the time as stomach pain and shortness of breath. Athletes are more accessible and vulnerable than ever before and the stories shared by DeRozan and Love are shining examples of why an National Basketball Association player, or any high-profile athlete, should never stick to sports.

An estimated 2.7 percent of American adults had panic disorder in the past year, while an estimated 4.7 percent of American adults experience panic disorder at some time in their lives, according to the National Institute of Mental Health.

"I've played against DeMar for years, but I never could've guessed that he was struggling with anything", said Love. "That is going to be, that's going to help a lot of young men in particular".

Love discussed a game back in November during which he experienced a panic attack, which forced him from the game.

Hampshire residents warned: "Use as little water as possible"
A number of water handout points have been set up in London to provide the worst affected people with fresh water. In Hampstead, people without water can collect bottles from the No 1 Pond Car Park, on East Heath Road, NW3 2RJ.

We were at home against the Hawks - 10th game of the season. He wrote, "It was like my body was trying to say to me, 'You're about to die.'" Love was rushed to the Cleveland Clinic where doctors found nothing physically wrong with him. "But I was certain about one thing: I couldn't bury what had happened and try to move forward". I didn't want to look weak. It's like the playbook said - figure it out on your own, like everyone else around me always had. I think what Kevin said was...and I read the article this morning.

"This just one more example of the willingness to kind of go above and beyond and say not only am I going to work on my physical engine, I'm going to work on my mental one as well", said Dr. Erin Ayala, Premier Sport Psychology, PLLC. Doing my own research, I realized that Love likely was keeping his issues under wraps because they were serious. The act of getting out of my chair and walking to the door felt like a marathon.

Just the opposite. It could be the most important thing you do.

"I want to make it clear that I don't have things figured out about all of this", Love wrote. I just never thought it was for me.

Love said he is now trying to be truthful with himself. "So I'm not saying everyone should share all their deepest secrets - not everything should be public and it's every person's choice".
