Russia may block YouTube over model's video with Manafort-linked oligarch, yacht and minister

Sex Lies And Yachts...Russia's Monkey Business

The wealthy oligarch in question, Oleg Deripaska, was seen in the videos sailing his yacht around Norway, with Russian deputy prime minister Sergei Prikhodko also on board the vessel.

"Roskomnadzor has begun blocking on Deripaska's demand. In a rare tweet posted in English, Navalny wrote: "@instagram made a decision to comply with Russian illegal censorship requests and deleted some content about oligarch Deripaska.

"Deripaska won an order from Ust-Labinsk court in his native Krasnodar region ordering the removal of 14 Instagram posts and seven YouTube videos that breached his right to privacy, according to a spokeswoman for his Basic Element company". Russia's communications regulator Roskomnadzor then blacklisted the materials.

Deripaska also has past ties to President Trump's former campaign manager Paul Manafort, now indicted by the special counsel investigating alleged Russian interference in the 2016 USA election campaign.

In the video, Navalny says, "An oligarch takes a top government official on a ride on his own yacht-that's a bribe".

Following the court order, Roskomnadzor dutifully added the photo and video material to its list of things that must be censored and contacted YouTube and Instagram to order it to take the material off of its site or face being blocked throughout the country. The anti-Kremlin campaigner has been banned from running against Vladimir Putin in March's presidential election.

Terrorists attack Sunjuwan army camp in Jammu and Kashmir
Chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti, expressed anguish over the militant attack and the loss of life caused in it. The terrorists were wearing army fatigues and carrying AK-56 rifles, ammunition and hand grenades.

According to Navalny, the video shot by Rybka shows her, Deripaska, and Prikhodko talking about how the deputy prime minister met Victoria Nuland, at the time the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs and a frequent critic of Russian Federation. Rybka, who worked as an escort, also claimed she had an affair with the aluminum magnate.

This is not Navalny's first attempt to link Russia's business leaders to the political elite.

A member of Navalny's team posted a screen shot of a message the team allegedly received from YouTube and Google, demanding that he take down one of the videos where he discusses the allegedly corrupt dealings. Roskomnadzor by the decision of the Ust-Labinsk district court chose to lock in these materials as interim measure on the suit. The video, which attracted more than 4.1 million views, was still available on YouTube today.

Rybka posted videos and photos in 2016 that appear to show Deripaska on his yacht talking with Prikhodko.

Navalny, who was barred from running against Vladimir Putin in March's presidential elections, has built a massive online following in Russian Federation for investigations accusing government ministers and top officials of corruption.
