34 years after the original Karate Kid came out (can you believe it's been that long?) and YouTube Red has dropped the first teaser trailer for the long-awaited TV series sequel, Cobra Kai. It looks like we may have our chance to find out, judging from the first teaser below for Cobra Kai.

For some reason, the reopening of the Cobra Kai dojo doesn't sit well with Daniel, even if Johnny is using it to help a bullied kid. Whereas Daniel is the picture of stability as a vehicle dealer and family man.

Since Johnny is telling his new pupils "We are not trained to be merciful here".

The teaser shows off a dramatic montage of trophies, scenic training and finally the new Cobra Kai dojo, where the titular rivals once again meet face-to-face, albeit in senior citizens guise.

Writing the series are Josh Heald (Hot Tub Time Machine), Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg (Harold & Kumar). Susan Ekins also executive produces along with Will Smith, Caleeb Pinkett, and James Lassiter executive producer for Overbrook Entertainment in association with Sony Pictures Television Studios.

Apple iOS 12 iPhone apps will be able to run on MacOS
The description of the new iOS version reveals no redesign of the home screen or unique features, unlike previous versions. These include the ability to run several windows in one app and to run two screens from the same app side-by-side.

Johnny Lawrence has not been seen on screen since the opening scene of The Karate Kid Part II, when Daniel's teacher Mr. Miyagi saved him from a beating by Kreese as punishment for losing to Daniel.

In fact, Daniel is so worked up that he blubbers, "Johnny, you and I, this... we aren't done".

Cobra Kai also stars Xolo Maridueña (Parenthood), Tanner Buchanan (Designated Survivor), Courtney Henggeler (Mom) and Mary Mouser (Freakish).

We also learn that Daniel's wife and business partner Amanda is being played by Courtney Henggler, while Mary Mouser plays their spitfire daughter, so you can bet they'll have a say in Daniel, now a successful auto dealer, getting back into the fighting game. Would Daniel have triumphed over evil a second time?
