Pat Shurmur makes first mark on Giants’ roster

John DeFilippo stood on top of a double-decker bus with the rest of the Eagles, as they cruised through raucous downtown Philadelphia on Thursday to celebrate the franchise's first championship in 57 years.

The Vikings feel good enough about Stefanski that they want him to remain in their organization-but it could be a matter of them seeing DeFilippo as readier for the job since he had been an OC in the past, and Stefanski has not. He earned rave reviews for helping develop quarterback Carson Wentz, taken with the No. 2 pick in the 2016 draft. "It was a whirlwind, but it was a whirlwind that was 100 percent worth it, professionally and personally". The Giants and their new coach, Pat Shurmur, who was the offensive coordinator in Minnesota prior to leaving for NY, had been waiting for several weeks to see how things panned out with Stefanski and the Vikings.

But that's a big assumption and also assumes Stefanski will have an interest in sticking around Minnesota after the Vikings stood in his way of getting a promotion this time. Against the Patriots, Foles threw for 373 yards and three touchdowns and even caught a pass for a score on a trick play. I certainly support a person's ability to find a new and better job and be able to leave their current organization he is with to do so.

He'll apply that same approach to the Vikings. He's a smart guy, good relationship with the players. One year ago, the Eagles blocked DeFilippo from interviewing with the Jets. Staley is under contract and the Eagles could deny permission for the Giants to meet with him.

The Giants are reportedly not the only team interested in Bevell's services. Minnesota's offense finished last season ranked 10th in the National Football League with 23.9 points per game. However, it has yet to be seen how John DeFilippo will perform as the new offensive coordinator for the Vikings.

Trump Tells Putin 'Now Is Time' To Work For Israeli-Palestinian Peace
Palestine views the United States' decision as a rejection of East Jerusalem as the capital of any future Palestinian state. Israel occupied East Jerusalem in 1967 and proceeded to effectively annex it, in breach of global law.

Reich has reportedly reached out to the Chargers seeking permission to talk with wide receivers coach Nick Sirianni, with whom he worked a few years back.

DeFilippo said he is going to have as much to say the team will let him about who the next starting quarterback is going to be for the Vikings. "Barely sleeps. Just fundamentals, giving us the game plan, giving us all our checks, extremely detailed".

The Vikings rejected the Giants' request to interview their quarterbacks coach, Kevin Stefanski, to be their next offensive coordinator.

That was a nod to Stefanski's being the Vikings longest-tenured coach, recently completing his 12th season, a strength in which he went from assistant to head coach, to assistant QBs coach, to tight ends coach, to running backs coach, to quarterbacks coach in 2017 with Shumur as the Vikings' offensive coordinator. "Positive, very positive, liked to have fun".
