Italy shooting

"He drove around in his auto and when he saw any black people he shot them", Marcello Mancini, a Macerata resident, told Reuters television. We ask schools to keep children in until furr notice, "according to a statement published on same social network".

"There's an armed man in a auto shooting in town". Police operation in progress. More than 620,000 migrants, many of them African, have arrived in Italy since the beginning of 2014, contributing to a growing sense among Italians that the country was taking in far more people than it could handle.

In the heart of Macerata town in Italy, over four individuals were reportedly wounded when no less than a gunman started a shooting attack from a vehicle.

The suspect, named by police as 28-year-old Luca Traini, apparently had an Italian flag draped around his shoulders when he was arrested. One meter and eighty centimeters and shaved, Traini has come down from auto, he has taken off his jacket and has put an Italian flag on his back while climbing monument. A short while later there were reports of further drive-by shootings in the city.

Earlier this morning, the gunman along with a passenger were driving in a black Alfa Romeo 147 in the town of Macerata, which is located about 200 km (125 miles) east of Rome. "Stay out of the way and avoid open places", the local police said in a posting on its official Twitter account.

They were later caught by officers who chased them down. Onlookers said he made a fascist salute before being handcuffed.

Warren Gatland, on the 10th anniversary of his first match as Wales coach, wasn't surprised at all. But his offload wasn't as good as his forwards' support.

Police authorities said the attack appears to be "racially motivated".

Video footage from the scene shows one of the victims raising his hand as he is put into an ambulance.

"There is an armed man in a auto who is shooting in the city", Mayor Romano Carancini said in a statement.

The Italian police gave a chase to the auto and later caught the gunman while the passenger has fled and the police were trying to trace him. "The wounded are of foreign nationality".

Local reports are also linking the attack to another recent case - the murder of an 18-year-old girl - in which a Nigerian man has been arrested.

Right-wing politicians campaigning ahead of national elections on March 4 leaped on the gruesome death of the teenager Pamela Mastropietro to promote their anti-migrant message.
