Since the start of Turkey's operation against the Syrian Kurdish YPG militia in Afrin, several rockets have hit the Turkish border towns of Kilis and Reyhanli.
Reportedly, battles are also underway to liberate Maranez and Bafel heights.
The Turkish authorities state that the military operation in the Afrin region, which was launched on January 20 against the Kurdish people's self-defense units of the Democratic Union Party, is carried out in accordance with the right of a state for self-defense provided for in the UN Charter and is aimed at elimination of a terrorist group.

Turkey's Catholic Church, whose seven dioceses and apostolic vicariates have around 53,000 members, according to the Vatican, has not commented on the military campaign. Two people were hospitalized after the attack and one, 17-year-old Fatma Avlar, died from her wounds, the agency said.
As Turkey's military operation in Syria continues, officials in the US-led global coalition against Islamic State warned the offensive could destabilise recent gains against the extremists along the Iraq-Syria border in the Euphrates River valley.
"We appeal to the United Nations to stop this Turkish aggression", Khalil Sabri, head of the Afrin hospital, said at a press conference aired on Kurdish and some Arab channels.
He added: "The whole world knows and should know that Turkey does not operate with the mentality of an invader".
The attacks inside Turkey have so far killed four people, including Ms Avlar.
