BlackBerry Mobile to unveil at least two new phones in 2018

BlackBerry Motion is coming to the US, unlocked for $449 starting January 12

After the successful launch of the award-winning BlackBerry KEYone, and the introduction of the Blackberry Motion, TCL Communications are preparing additional BlackBerry hardware, for launch sometime during the rest of 2018. It comes with all the security and productivity features that made the KEYone such as popular smartphone among BlackBerry fans.

Speaking of the QWERTY phone, BlackBerry also announced that a new bronze version of the KeyOne will be released for select markets around the world, offering dual SIMs, more storage (64GB), and RAM (4GB).

This begins with an an all-new colour variant and dual SIM version of BlackBerry KEYone - Bronze Edition - to be released in the United Kingdom and other select markets across Europe, Asia and the Middle East in Q1.

BlackBerry, under the ownership of TCL Communications, has announced at CES 2018 that there will be "at least two new BlackBerry smartphones this year".

"The Motion features IP67 water and dust resistant technology, a new anti-scratch display, protecting the device's 5.5" full-HD screen.

The phone also includes a generous 4,000 mAh battery and ships with Android Nougat out of the box.

Finally, Blackberry Motion is making its way to the U.S., as it is going to be made available in the market from January 12.
