Now, on January 10, FortniteBattle Royale will pick up in-game Highlights support amongst other games which include Crossout and Elex. But, since GeForce NOW supports PC-only titles such as Arma 3 and Divinity: Original Sin 2, only time will tell if GeForce NOW can compete with more well-established cloud gaming services.
As PCGamesN points out, Freestyle will let gamers adjust colour balance, depth of field, anti-aliasing, vignette and as many as 15 other filters to give their games a unique and different look than the developers originally intended. The free software is now capable of running more than 160 games at maximum visual settings, at up to 120 fps. Gamers can even use night mode, which reduces blue color so users can sleep better after a night of gaming. GeForce Experience is getting upgraded with a new feature called NVIDIA Freestyle, which lets you apply a variety of filters to your games as you play them. Nvidia says it has "integrated Freestyle at the driver level for seamless compatibility with games".
With Ansel, you can compose shots from virtually any camera position, adjust with post-process filters, capture HDR images in high-fidelity formats and share your screenshots in 360 degrees via your smartphone, PC or VR headset. While numerous available filters and settings may help to add some flair to gameplay, there's also a colorblind mode created to help those with colorblindness better distinguish colors, and a night mode that cuts down on blue light to facilitate improved sleep. So far, Freestyle supports 100 games, and it'll likely get even more come its official release. It adds Game Ready support for Fortnite and updates SLI profiles for Dirt4, Total War: Warhammer II and X-Morph: Defense.
Senate Bill to Reverse Net Neutrality Repeal to Get Floor Vote In the days before the FCC's vote last month, the online giants took few overt steps to voice opposition to repealing the rules. The CRA gives Congress the power to pass a "resolution of disapproval" to nullify new regulations within a 60-day window.
Ansel has refreshed Photo Mode controls, eight new filters and the ability to combine multiple filters. This brings the beta service far beyond its roots as an exclusive to for Nvidia's Android-based Shield devices, and more into the core Windows gaming PC audience.
NVIDIA's BFGDs are set to arrive later this year, GeForce NOW is available, well, now, and the FreeStyle and Ansel improvements arrive this Tuesday in beta mode. Then enable Experimental Features from within GeForce Experience settings.
