FAA officials said they thought Kinsinger, an animal rescue pilot whom friends said was headed to Texas to rescue a dog, had become hypoxic while flying, News 9 reported. Reports suggested that the pilot had recently been running a transport for a charity that works with animals. His plane crashed into the Gulf of Mexico on its way to Texas.

"I kind of felt like we had already committed to it, we needed to do it, especially under the circumstances, in Bill's honor and memory".

A plane that took off from the Wiley Post Airport in Oklahoma City is missing.

"He did it out of the kindness of his heart", she said.

The FAA said during the flight, Dr. Kinsinger didn't respond to air traffic control instructions.

Jon Gruden's 10-year deal with Raiders to approach $100M
ESPN reported that Davis was in hot pursuit for Gruden with a persuasive offer that included an ownership stake in the Raiders. Gruden will replace former Raiders coach Jack Del Rio, who was sacked Sunday after a disappointing six-win season.

The Coast Guard identified the pilot as Bill Kinsinger.

"Tim had Down syndrome and lived with us until he was 37 and then diagnosed with a brain tumor", Kinsinger said. "Very empathetic to everyone he volunteered with encouraging us to 'save some more'".

It disappeared from radar over the Gulf of Mexico after overflying its destination KFOR originally reported and shown by Flightaware.

By Wednesday evening, the Coast Guard received a report saying the pilot was unresponsive, likely due to lack of oxygen. They reported that the pilot appeared to be the sole occupant of the aircraft and also reported that the pilot appeared to be slumped over in his seat and was unresponsive to their repeated attempts to attract his attention.

Blackburn said he couldn't believe it when he heard what happened.
