TV anchor Amanda Davis has died after a sudden stroke
The entire family at CBS46 is mourning the loss of morning show anchor Amanda Davis, who passed away after suffering a stroke at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta.
Davis was waiting to board her flight to Texas when she suffered the sudden stroke, with medics unable to save her.
The Emmy-winning journalist was known for her work for Atlanta's Fox affiliate WAGA-TV, where she worked for 26 years. "Amanda's companions and associates at CBS 46 are appealing to God for her family".
The station says Davis was surrounded by family when she died. " On Tuesday, while on her way to celebrate his life, Davis suffered a stroke". "Our thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones during this hard time".
Davis had been a presence on Atlanta TV news for more than 25 years.

On December 24, Davis posted a Christmas message on Facebook that read, "The first Christmas after you lose someone is hard".
