A Druze soldier attacked and beaten by other soldiers is seen at hospital
A 14-year-old Palestinian boy has been placed into a medically-induced coma after Israeli soldiers shot him in the face with a rubber bullet during a protest against a United States decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
Tamimi and her family have always been targets of the Israeli authorities and the animosity towards them grew even further after numerous videos of the fearless young activist standing up to IOF soldiers went viral on social media, amassing millions of views.
Tamimi wrote on his Facebook page that Israeli forces have beaten everyone at the house before searching it and confiscating all computers and cameras, before handcuffing Ahed and taking her to an unknown destination.
Al-Tamimi's father said the girl was reacting to the shooting of her cousin, Mohammed al-Tamimi, on 15 December, by Israeli soldiers during a protest against Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
The Palestinians struggle against the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, territories that Israel seized in the 1967 and has held ever since, despite worldwide protest.
The arrest took place during a raid on the Tamimi home on Monday night.
He said at least 30 soldiers were involved in the raid and arrest.
The Israeli army spokesperson said the soldiers had acted in a "professional and restrained manner".
Company To Promote Videos More It [Facebook] said the initial test it carried out showed that satisfaction improved by 18 percent when Ad Breaks were delayed. The social media giant is to trial advertisements at the beginning of some of its videos at the start of next year.
Ahed was eight years old when it all started.
Though the video has been hailed by Tamimi's supporters as a courageous act in the struggle of the Palestinian people, the viral video has also been used by pro-Israel voices who instead saw the clash as a display of "IDF restraint and professionalism", the Post reported.
The army had also posted that "It was wrong not to arrest her immediately, because she tried to block the soldiers' mission".
The girls filmed the soldiers with cellphones, which seemed to indicate they were trying to instigate a violent response from the soldiers.
A Palestinian teenager who was filmed slapping and harassing Israeli soldiers in the West Bank was arrested. Both her uncles were martyrs.
"Ahed was telling the soldiers to get away from our home", Bassem said. This past summer, she went on a speaking tour in South Africa to share her story and, three years ago, was invited to dine with then-prime minister of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
After Israelis Eitam and Na'ama Henkin were murdered in front of their four young children, Manal Tamimi tweeted, "all settlers in West Bank should stay at their house, Pal lions still free & can reach u & kill you where ever u r".
