Report: Chiefs OC Matt Nagy will call plays vs. Jets

Report | Andy Reid hands play-calling duties over to Matt Nagy

We're just a few minutes into the Chiefs-Jets game, but it appears Alex Smith and Travis Kelce are doing their best to reverse their team's fortune.

In a major surprise, middle linebacker Darron Lee was listed as one of the Jets' inactives for today's game against the Chiefs. Against Kansas City (6-6), they finally protected an advantage - but not without some drama. But the Chiefs' defense collapsed, allowing nearly 500 yards to the Jets.

Late in the fourth quarter, however, the temperamental cornerback had a meltdown of epic proportions after being penalized with two minutes left in the game.

Hill had put the Chiefs ahead 31-30 on a 40-yard touchdown catch. He threw for more than 300 yards, and had a 70-yard scramble in the second quarter to set up a field goal. In past collapses, the Jets committed a host of dumb penalties. As of Sunday morning, the Chiefs were receiving just over 60% of the tickets at the betting window.

Lingard, De Gea lead Man Utd past Arsenal
Paul Pogba was spotted hugging Mesut Ozil in the Emirates tunnel in the moments leading up to Manchester United's 3-1 victory over Arsenal .

The Jets' offensive line has underperformed all year, and their running backs aren't that impressive.

The Jets were forced to kick a field goal from the 7-yard line after Bilal Powell was dropped short of the end zone.

East Rutherford, NJ, USA; New York Jets wide receiver Jermaine Kearse (10) celebrates his catch during the second half against the Kansas City Chiefs at MetLife Stadium. But officials threw a flag for defensive holding, which was the third key penalty of the drive against the Chiefs.

After the holding call, Peters walked over, picked up the flag and chucked it into the stands, where the fan who caught it proceeded to take pictures with it on his cell phone.
