Florida State Seminoles coach Jimbo Fisher to take Texas A&M coaching job
In his time at Florida State, Fisher went 83-23 and won a national championship back in 2013.
Multiple reports suggest that Fisher has agreed to accept a $7.5 million annual offer from Texas A&M and won't coach the Seminoles if they play in a bowl.
The other good news is he will NOT coach in FSU's season finale against Louisiana-Monroe with longtime defensive line coach Odell Haggins giving the honor of leading the team.
ESPN reports that the 52-year-old wanted to wait to announce his decision until after Saturday's game.
Fisher has been a coach at Florida State for the last 11 seasons, including the last eight as the head coach.

Last December, Fisher signed a contract extension through 2024 that makes him among the highest-paid coaches in the country. According to Billy Liucci of TexAgs.com, Fisher is expected to be introduced as the new Aggies head coach on Monday.
Meantime, Florida State is bracing for Fisher's departure.
"I promised that you would be the first to know". And I guess we'll see (Fisher) next year, if that's what he's going to do. A press conference officially announcing Fisher's hire to replace Kevin Sumlin - who was sacked November 26 after the Aggies' 45-21 loss to LSU - is expected to take place Monday morning following authorization by the regents. "I don't know how it got out", A sobbing Fisher said.
FSU had already starting the vetting process of a couple of potential hires like Oregon's Willie Taggart and Virginia Tech's Justin Fuente.
