Global terrorist, but a free man in Pakistan: 5 things to know about Hafiz Saeed

Saeed may have to wait for new ombudsperson to hear his petition

"I'm the biggest supporter of Lashkar-e-Taiba and I know the LeT and JuD people like me", he said, while responding to a question on how the man who had once pursued the policy of "enlightened moderation" was joining hands with hardline Islamic groups.

Musharraf said he had banned LeT in 2002 because the situation was different then.

Recently released Jamaatud Dawa (JD) chief Hafiz Saeed said that India is violating the global human rights laws using "chemical weapons" against Kashmiris to suppress their freedom struggle.

Ameer Hafiz Saeed has accused India of violating the global laws on human rights by using ammunition containing chemical agents in Kashmir to suppress the indigenous freedom struggle of Kashmiris.

He also said that he likes Jamaat-ud-Dawah chief Hafiz Saeed for his "role" in Kashmir.

"Yes, they (LeT) are involved in Kashmir".

Select HTC U11 units start receiving Android Oreo update
This and other efficient features will also optimize the smartphone in a way that helps it in saving battery. " It's coming soon . If you've already been able to dip into Android's Oreo, there's a good chance you're using one of Google's flagship Pixel phones.

It can be recalled that the banned Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD) head Hafiz Saeed, who carries a United States dollars 10 million American bounty on his head for terror activities, walked free on Friday after the Pakistan government decided against detaining him further in any other case. "Yes, they (LeT) are involved in Kashmir but in Kashmir, it is between us and India", he said.

He also said that the America has asked for Hafiz Saeed's re-arrest only because of pressure from India and he would continue to fight for the liberation of Kashmir. "The Hafiz Saeed issue is an issue in India, not in the United States".

Saeed who was designated a terrorist by the United Nations carried a $10 million bounty announced by the U.S. on his head after the 2008 Mumbai attack that killed over 160 people. "I'm sorry if the ex-President of Pakistan thinks the LeT was going to protect Islam".

"Yes, I have met him (LeT founder Hafiz Saeed) even recently ..."

The former president has earlier too sided with Saeed, who was released from house arrest on November 25 after Islamabad failed to submit any proof against him.

Musharraf, who lives in self-imposed exile, faces several cases in Pakistan and there is little chance that he will come back to participate in elections.
