CBS and Dish Reach Carriage Agreement

Dish Network Customers in Nation's Three Biggest Markets Will Miss the Cowboys Game (and Alabama-Auburn)

Put the turkey baster down and pick up the phone, because it's time to call up some local businesses.

Hours after millions of viewers were unable to watch the Chargers-Cowboys football game on Thanksgiving Day afternoon, Dish Network and CBS reached a multi-year fee agreement, ending the blackout that kept the game off the airwaves.

On Dish Network's website, the United States' No. 2 satellite operator shows you how your local CBS stations are affected by the dispute, which has left CBS blacked out to Dish subscribers in dozens of states.

Dish Network subscribers once again have access to CBS following the brief service blackout resulting from an expired contract between the two.

Shopping small pays big, keep it growing Saturday
So much thought is put into giving the shopper an experience that makes them feel connected to the community, a part of something. The gift basket's contents vary, but the organizers have plans for gift certificates from chamber members and other goods.

"Dish customers will continue to get CBS' must-have content, while we are also able to achieve our short and long-term economic and strategic goals", he added.

A dispute erupted between CBS and DISH Network over the price of carriage. A look at Twitter reveals more than a few upset tweets from Dish customers. Although CBS channels will not be available on Sling TV they have recently agreed to provide channels to DirecTV Now and YouTube TV.

The deal, which includes all CBS-owned stations, as well as CBS Sports Network, Pop and Smithsonian Channel, comes after almost three days of no CBS programming from the cable provider.

Besides rallying the TV remote soldiers, the site offers a glimpse into Dish and CBS's tense negotiations. CBS told Deadline "we remain far apart on terms" and stated Dish was "desperate to retain subscribers".
