Windies are poised to tour Pakistan for three Twenty20s next March and April

Pakistan will host West Indies in a three-match Twenty20 series in March and the Caribbean side will be playing in the South Asian country every year for the next five years, the Pakistan Cricket Board has said.

I can confirm now that both the boards have reached an agreement under which we will play a T20 series each year for the next five years in Pakistan and United States of America subject to availability of dates and venues which will be finalised later, an online sources quoted Sethi.

"As we speak, the National Logistics Cell (NLC) is working overtime and they have promised to get Karachi stadium ready to host the final in March", Sethi assured.

The three games are slotted for March 29, 31 and 1st April. The venue of the matches has not yet been finalized.

GOP leaders bolt from Senate candidate Moore after sex claim
Several senior Republicans called on Moore to quit the race after The Washington Post reported allegations of sexual misconduct. Moore has strongly denied the accusations, attributing them to the Democrats and The Washington Post , which broke the story .

In return, Pakistan and West Indies will play a series in U.S. in 2018 which will be a tri-series. However, Sethi remarked that it seems impossible now pertaining to the weather conditions of Lahore. Worldwide cricket was suspended in Pakistan after terrorists attacks on the Sri Lankan team bus in Lahore in 2009, which killed eight people and injured several players. One issue stemmed around reciprocity surrounding the proposed tour.

In a press conference, PCB chairman said, "West Indies and Pakistan cricket board has signed an agreement to play a series of T20 matches each year for the next five years in Pakistan and in the U.S.", said Sethi.

Sethi added, "This is an independent bilateral arrangement, independent of the FTPs [Future Tour Programmes] that would be arranged with the International Cricket Council (ICC) in December/January".
