Donald Trump fires off first tweets under new 280 character limit
Germans have greeted the news that Twitter now permits 280-character missives with twice the tweeting. He wasn't sure whether Twitter writers would even know what to do with the extra space: "To suddenly have more characters available goes against the expectation of the user".
Twitter announced that they had begun testing the increase of limit across most languages in September 2017, then finally announced through their own platform that the change has been made permanent.

"But importantly, people tweeted below 140 most of the time and the brevity of Twitter remained", she said. There were lots of amusing and serious debates going on Twitter regarding its new character limit.
Germans post tweet of 35000 characters More interaction and more engagement means more users and more advertising revenue. Users tweeting in Chinese, Japanese and Korean will still have the original limit.
Changing yourdisplay name is a simple matter of heading to Settings, but full details are available on Twitter's support pages.
