Police searching for armed person at TCU, officials urge students to seek shelter

TCU tells students to shelter in place after spat between shuttle employees leads to gunfire

Texas Christian University was locked down Tuesday morning after a shot was sacked, with school officials warning the community to seek shelter because of an armed person on campus.

A TCU shuttle bus driver was arrested Tuesday morning after shooting at another shuttle driver.

In a tweet sent out around 7:10 a.m., TCU told those nearby to "seek safe shelter immediately".

The person struck by the shuttle was not seriously injured, police said.

Texas Christian University has issued an all-clear after reports of an armed suspect on campus.

According to TCU 360, shots were fired after a dispute between shuttle drivers.

Police said they were still "actively" searching for the suspect and the shuttle as of 7:40 a.m.

Police said the two men worked for the Roadrunner shuttle service, which is used by the university.
