Kate Winslet and Jake Gyllenhaal to Be Honored at the 2017 Hollywood Film Awards

Reaching in According to the Hollywood Reporter when Kate hit the stage to accept the award for her performance in the Woody Allen directed film she said she'felt honored to be in the same room as Allison Janney

And while Winslet and Janney certainly stole the spotlight, almost all the attendees slayed the red carpet.

A kiss between Kate Winslet and Allison Janney stole the limelight at the Hollywood Film Awards, the first major ceremony of the annual awards season.

And the crowd went wild.

The actress was on stage to pick up a prize for her Woody Allen film Wonder Wheel and she couldn't hide her delight.

She leapt up, jogged over to the podium and gave Winslet a kiss on the lips followed by a hug.

Gary Oldman will receive a Hollywood Career Achievement Award, highlighting his work in "Darkest Hour", while Adam Sandler will be presented with the Hollywood Comedy Award for "The Meyerowitz Stories. Allison, I know I don't really know you but I know I just want to be you", she said.
