Facebook acquires TBH, an anonymous teen compliment app

A spokeswoman for Facebooksaid that the social network is not disclosing the terms of the deal, but TBH's millennial co-creators - Nikita Bier, Erik Hazzard, Kyle Zaragoza and Nicolas Ducdodon - will become Facebook employees, based at the company's headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif., and will continue to work on TBH.

"Most of all, we were compelled by the ways they could help us realize tbh's vision and bring it to more people".
The tbh team wrote in an announcement post that "When we met with Facebook, we realised that we shared numerous same core values about connecting people through positive interactions". The teen-focused app, which is currently only available in a handful of states in the USA, has been the number one free app in the iOS App Store for more than three weeks now. The app is designed for the teenagers of 13 and above.
