BJP's 15-day march in Kerala to take on CPI(M)
With the BJP launching the "Jan Raksha Yatra" against the "murder of party workers" in Kerala Tuesday, the party's Delhi unit is set to take out marches in the capital from Friday, and BJP national president Amit Shah is likely to be a part of one on October 8 (Sunday), BJP sources said.
More than 120 BJP and RSS workers have been murdered in Kerala so far. Shah is likely to be in Kerala for three days and expected to join the march in at least three places. Kannur, the site of particularly bloody clashes, is the CM's home district.
The "Janraksha Yatra" with the theme "All have to live!" The BJP has postponed this padayatra which was earlier scheduled to be held on October 2. The trend of enlightened reform, he added, had been corrupted by CPM, which had "targeted its political adversaries".
Kerala, a State famed for its communal harmony, has to now guard itself against attempts by the right wing to drive a wedge between communities.
Media has reported that the BJP march will go past the home of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the latter's hometown in Kannur on Oct 5. Thousands thronged the venue from where the march was launched. "We invite UP CM Yogi to visit Kerala Hospitals to learn how to run Hospitals effectively!" Your (activists) silence raises questions about your allegiance.
"I am asking advocates of human rights, why they don't see the atrocities committed by the Left party? Let me remind you, violence has no colour", Shah said.
Addressing a public meeting after flagging of the Janaraksha Yatra, led by BJP State President Kummanam Rajasekharan, Mr Shah said Pinarayi Vijayan can't wash off the blood stains of murder victims from his shirt.
BJP would also put up a photo exhibition on the violence in Kerala.
Shah also announced the party will campaign for the next two weeks in all Indian states against the killings, the Press Trust of India report said.
On first day, the march will commence from Payyanur to Pilathara, in which Amit Shah will participate.

This model is how First Click Free worked, and it is also already used by some publishers, such as the Dallas Morning News. The change in Google's policy comes as a number of news producers and publishers were unhappy with the system.
