La Liga president challenges UEFA to investigate Man City transfers
'The LFP firmly condemns the insulting comments from La Liga president Mr Javier Tebas concerning Paris St Germain, ' a statement read.
La Liga has been notoriously strong to stop its own clubs breaking financial rules.
But City were left furious over accusations made with regards to Pablo Maffeo, Aleix Garcia, Douglas Luiz, Marlos Moreno and Olarenwaju Kayode.
"The problem is when the income they report to cover their costs is not real", he said.
"As they can expect, Manchester City Football Club and City Football Group have sought legal advice and will act accordingly", the statement continued.
The La Liga boss urged Uefa to crack the whip against two clubs he accused of flaunting their financial power in defiance of FFP rules created to prevent clubs from being bankrolled by external sources and spending beyond their means.
"Manchester City and the City Football group are evaluating the option to take legal actions.".
Tebas continued: "I need more money from TV, otherwise Manchester City with its oil will take all these players".
Qatari-owned PSG have spent 380 million euros ($450.66m) to secure the services of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, while Man City, owned by the Abu Dhabi United Group, have splashed more than £200 million (218m euros) on full-backs Benjamin Mendy, Kyle Walker and Danilo, goalkeeper Ederson and attacking midfielder Bernardo Silva.
"These unworthy remarks do not live up to an institution as respectable and efficient as LaLiga".
The French football league has also criticised Tebas.
He claimed: "If there is too much money in the market, prices go up. It wasn't one euro obviously but it would be unfaithful competition within the Spanish league if Girona were able to report these players in a certain way".
Girona, are competing in the top tier of the Spanish league for the first time this season. They are not financial doping.
Ben Arfa's lawyer, Jean-Jacques Bertrand, claims the club have violated the LFP's Professional Football Charter that states such a measure can only be temporary and for reasons of squad management.
