Broncos DE Derek Wolfe carted off field at practice
Derek Wolfe left Saturday's practice early after suffering an ankle injury, but Head Coach Vance Joseph later said the injury did not initally appear "that bad". That's great news for Denver's defense. "I was praying as soon as it happened that it was just a sprain and nothing serious". Losing Wolfe, their best defensive lineman, would have struck a major blow to a defense looking to improve significantly against the run. "Hopefully it's nothing serious and it's just a sprain".
Wolfe has posted 5.5 sacks in each of the previous two seasons, respectively. In last year's Draft, the Buccaneers traded up in the second round to take Aguayo, who went 198-for-198 in extra point attempts and 69-for-78 in field goal tries during his stint at Florida State.
The Broncos' playoff hopes rest nearly entirely on their defense. We need Derek Wolfe. Wolfe couldn't put any weight on his right leg as he was helped inside and then sent for an MRI.
South Africa's Zuma faces secret no-confidence vote The ANC holds 246 parliamentary seats, but several members have already indicated publicly that they will vote against Zuma. But because five parliament seats are now vacant, the opposition wants the count to be based on 395 seats instead.
The Broncos can not afford to lose Wolfe as they have already lost defensive lineman Billy Winn for the season due to a torn ACL suffered in Thursday's preseason game.
Wolfe's injury came on the heels of the team placing fellow defensive end Billy Winn on injured reserve.
Also sidelined are nose tackle Kyle Peko (foot) and outside LBs Shane Ray (wrist) and Shaq Barrett (hip). However, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network Insider reported that Wolfe could only miss some practice time to recover.

Will Kyle Sloter get to vie for Broncos' starting QB job?
Ditka thinks the decision is obvious and says Trubisky made a better first impression than guys like Tom Brady and Fran Tarkenton. After Siemian and Lynch managed just three points on seven combined drives, Sloter led two long TD drives in the fourth quarter.
