Warner Bros releases 'Wonder Woman' Blu-ray details

While "Wonder Woman" crossed the $400 million mark in the Northern American box office, the same thing can not be said about its performance globally.

Wonder Woman sees Patty Jenkins (Monster) directing a cast that includes Gal Gadot (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Chris Pine (Star Trek), Connie Nielsen (Gladiator), Robin Wright (House of Cards), Danny Huston (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), David Thewlis (The Theory of Everything), Ewen Bremner (Snowpiercer), Said Taghmaoui (American Hustle), Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In), Lisa Loven Kongsli (Force Majeure), Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead) and Ann Wolf. The studio's other two films to reach that milestone were "The Dark Knight" and "The Dark Knight Rises", according to Sue Kroll, Warner Bros.' president of Worldwide Marketing and Distribution, who noted that all three titles are from the studio's DC Division.

The Princess of Themyscira is in no mood to stop her golden run. The Wonder Woman Blu-ray features an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc with the movie in 4K with HDR, a Blu-ray disc of the film in high definition, and a copy of the movie in UltraViolet Digital HD.

We loved her in theaters, and now Wonder Woman is on her way home.

The DVD features Wonder Woman in standard definition and includes all of the special features detailed above.

Add singing to the list of Wonder Woman's superpowers. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers...and her true destiny.

Patty Jenkins directed the film from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg, story by Zack Snyder & Allan Heinberg and Jason Fuchs, based on characters from DC.

"Wonder Woman" has crossed the $400 million-mark at the box office, and Gal Gadot is celebrating. The music is by composer Rupert Gregson-Williams ("Hacksaw Ridge", "The Legend of Tarzan").

It's cheesy, I know, but I think the DCEU didn't need another gritty re-imagining of a character, and Wonder Woman was just the breath of fresh air it needed. The film is being distributed in 3D and 2D in select theaters and IMAX worldwide by Warner Bros.

The film is rated PG-13 for sequences of violence and action, and some suggestive content.
