A Russian spy plane flew over US air space on Wednesday, cruising over a series of locales, including President Trump's summer vacation spot, according to a report. The Russian jet, a Tupolev Tu-154M, also flew over the Central Intelligence Agency headquarters in Virginia, as well as Camp David and Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.

It also flew near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, Politico reported.

In a second flight Wednesday afternoon, the aircraft flew over Bedminster, New Jersey, where President Trump is taking a working vacation during White House renovations.

According to the Open Skies Treaty, visiting aircraft are allowed to use specific wet film equipment or digital sensors to take aerial surveillance photos that are later shared with the host nation.

In 2014, military newspaper Stars and Stripes reported on us military flights over Moscow and other parts of Russian Federation to take photos of military installations and equipment. Moreover, the USA side took part in the development of the flight's route, she said. These missions are highly controlled, typically involving representatives of the country being observed participating in the mission.

Gunman shoots NY police officer before taking his own life
He and different officers had been reacting to a report of a sincerely bothered individual when a man opened fire, police said. After a more than hourlong standoff, officers entered the bedroom and found the man dead with two weapons nearby, police said.

U.S. Air Force personnel were on the plane, which flew at low altitude around 3,700 feet.

In the last 15 years, the USA and Russian Federation have done this a combined 165 times, Politico said.

Both the U.S. and Russian Federation are signatories to the treaty along with 32 other nations.

The entire territory of a nation is fair game, although nations get advanced notice of flight plans. Last year Stewart met with the House Armed Services Committee subcommittee and said he would "love" to potentially deny future Russian expeditions in American airspace, according to the Washington Post.

Washington, D.C.is not exempted from the treaty requirements, nor has there been any mention of private facilities such as golf courses owned by the president where he may be staying.
