It is how Google's diversity and Bias Training will Resemble like

Google, the tech giant that recently fired one of its top engineers for penning a memo that stated men and women are different, has been funding organizations that are defending human traffickers' rights to free speech.

More than half of Google's employees believe former search engineer James Damore shouldn't have been fired, according to polls. Others say it is hard to openly discuss diversity issues at the company because of a liberal bias among managers and colleagues at Google, a unit of Alphabet Inc. He said he only used scientific research in his memo and never claimed that women were biologically worse than men at tech jobs. The woman had posted a question "that had something to do with gender", Damore said. In terms of disclosure, my own views tend to be socially liberal and fiscally conservative.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai [pictured above] denounced the memo in an email on Monday for "advancing harmful gender stereotypes" and said he was cutting short a vacation to hold a town hall with staff on Thursday. Fifty-six percent of its workers are white and 35 percent are Asian, while Hispanic and Black employees make up 4 percent and 2 percent of its workforce, respectively, according to the company's latest diversity report. She added that a male employee had joined her team with a higher salary than her, despite her being his superior in the company. Damore, who has since been fired, has also said that he was considering suing Google. The author of the letter, James Damore, was subsequently terminated by Google, which led some to accuse Google of left-wing bias, and intolerance of differing ideas.

Another employee said she feels comfortable discussing the diversity program with colleagues "but I'm in the majority that thinks they're fair and necessary".

Google Sacks Employee Who Wrote Anti-Diversity Manifesto
Earlier in the day, Recode reported Sundar Pichai , chief executive of Google's parent, Alphabet Inc . Damore's firing will doubtlessly add more fuel to what has turned into an explosive topic.

"I went to a diversity programme at Google, it was ... not recorded, totally secretive", Damore told Molyneux.

The U.S. far right plans to take its dispute with Google to the company's doorsteps, with a nationwide "March on Google" set to take place this month.
