Donald Trump struck a defiant stance against North Korea on Tuesday afternoon, warning of severe retribution should the authoritarian state proceed with any more missile tests or threats.
The Dow Jones industrial average lost 71 points, or 0.3 percent, to 22,013.
Politics also lifted USA defense stocks. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite (COMP - 6,352.33) lost 18.1 points, or 0.3%.
