In town to shoot the movie The Peanut Butter Falcon, LaBeouf was arrested for alleged disorderly conduct, obstruction, and public drunkenness.

According to the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (via The Hollywood Reporter), the incident reportedly began when LaBeouf asked a bystander for a cigarette.

LaBeouf approached a citizen and an SCMPD officer around 4:00 a.m. close to the intersection of Barnard and W. St. He was told to leave the area and refused, becoming aggressive toward the officer.

As hard as it is to be arrested for public intoxication in Savannah, Georgia, LaBeouf was not the only person in the area to have a awful Friday night.

This is not the first time LaBeouf has been arrested for allegedly being drunk and disorderly in public.

Savannah Police and the Chatham County Sheriff's Office did not immediately respond to a request for additional comments.

LaBeouf, who besides acting has been involved in publicity-garnering performance art ventures, has had three other arrests in recent years. LaBeouf was then taken into custody as his disorderly behavior continued. He was also arrested outside a performance of the musical "Cabaret" in 2014 - which prompted him to enter rehab - and again in 2015 for running through the streets of Austin, TX drunk. As part of his 2014 plea agreement, Shia was to undergo alcohol treatment.
