Vermont Secretary Of State Will Not Release Sensitive Voter Information

Florida undecided on request from voter fraud commission
Maryland's attorney general says the state is prohibited by law from providing personal information on voters being sought by President Donald Trump's voting commission.
So far, 29 states have refused to comply with the commission's request for voter data. A voter's name, address and voting history are public, and this information has already been provided to campaigns and other requestors who have paid for it. Wisconsin does not collect any information about a voter's political preference or gender.
State Election Commission spokesman Chris Whitmire said commissioners will carefully consider the request received Monday.
That would not include, however, more private data like social security and drivers' license numbers, which the panel had also requested.
The head of the commission is the Secretary of State of Kansas, an official who has demanded that registered voters in that state provide their birth records and passports. Kobach then announced he would not release some of the same information about voters in his state.
Amy Childs' family connection to new Love Island star Jonny is a really nice guy and on paper they really match up, but I think he wanted a bit more excitement when he was in there. I told him to go for it in the first place, no disrespect to Camilla, I said he should give her a shot.
"I think next you have to realize the reason this commission was created was to try to formulate some sort of background and basis, authority for a lie", she said.
"NY refuses to perpetuate the myth voter fraud played a role in our election", tweeted Andrew Cuomo, Democratic governor of New York.
The Congressional Black Caucus weighed in Friday, releasing a letter urging secretaries of state to deny the data requests from the commission and U.S. Department of Justice.
Louisiana law also wouldn't have allowed Schedler to share all of the information the Trump commission wants. "We will do everything in our power to resist this call, and we'll continue to lead the fight for the historical gains we've made for African Americans, and for all citizens at the ballot box", said Leon Russell, chairman of the NAACP Board of Directors.
However, some of the nation's most populous states, including California and NY, are refusing to comply.
Experts who study voter fraud agree that it's rare. This Commission needs to understand clearly, disclosure of such sensitive information is more likely to diminish voter participation rather than foster it.
Lexington, Louisville mayors ask exemption from travel ban
It did so in the form of an official travel ban to states whose LGBT laws it deems too conservative - among them Tennessee. A new Kentucky law would allow student organizations at state schools to block LBGT people from membership.
Trumps supports repeal now, replace later option
But McConnell showed no interest in that strategy. "It doesn't have the votes, and it's a waste of valuable time to discuss it". McConnell postponed a vote on an initial version Tuesday because of opposition from conservatives and moderates alike.
