The senior selection committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), which met on Thursday, also announced the same administrative staff under head coach Anil Kumble. CoA chief Vinod Rai had said that Kumble will continue for the tour, subject to his acceptance.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant and left-arm wristspinner Kuldeep Yadav have been picked for India's limited-overs tour of West Indies, which comprises five ODIs and a T20 global soon after the Champions Trophy ends in England.

Pant, 19, could not make the India team for the ongoing Champions Trophy as the selectors preferred experience over youth, but has always been identified as a prospect because of his aggressive batting.

India will play five ODIs and one T20 global. Jasprit Bumrah also not picked in the 15-man squad for five ODIs and only T20I.

Pant had a brilliant performance for Delhi Daredevils in the tenth edition of Indian Premier League.
