Curry, Durant committed to keeping Golden State on top

The Warriors have defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 129-120 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, clinching their second title in three years and their fifth in team history, avenging the loss to Cleveland after blowing a 3-1 lead a year ago. In last year's championship series the Cavs roared back from a 3-1 deficit to spoil the Warriors' record-setting 73-win season.

NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant has a player option for next season and is also expected to return to the Warriors.

They made their group plea to Kevin Durant last summer, Stephen Curry and the core of the Golden State Warriors traveling cross-country to go at a prized free agent the only way they do it around here: with "Strength in Numbers". The guy averaged close to a triple-double, with efficient scoring, and was clearly the Warriors' second-best player behind a motivated Durant, who was determined to win his first championship. Andre Iguodala, he got traded a couple of times.

Couple it with a few editing tools and the new iPad Pro could make a convincing all-in-one film studio. The new model scores 4,144 (single-core) and 9,797 (multi-core) in the Geekbench 3 benchmark test.

Their run was better than anything Bill Russell or Larry Bird did in Boston, so they should be able to claim a spot on the list of the NBA's best teams ever.

"We were able to get them previous year, and they went out and got one of the best players that this league has ever seen", James said. "So there will be a lot of teams trying to figure out ways to put personnel together to match that".

Myers realizes adding Durant might not have worked so well with anyone but the Warriors. "What we've built here is truly special, it's unique, it's something that you don't want to see end at all", Curry said.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr has ripped into Trump several times, the last he called Trump a "blowhard". "Obviously, he's more dominant than both me and Magic because of the way that he plays the game - his physicality, and his athleticism surpasses Magic, as well as me", he said.

Although the Golden State Warriors have not confirmed this rumor, they have released the following statement regarding the speculation. Golden State went 16-1 in this year's playoffs, good for the highest winning percentage (.941) in a single postseason, surpassing the Los Angeles Lakers from 2001 (15-1, .938).
