Putin dismisses US claims about Trump, Russia and elections

Putin on U.S. election hacking allegations: 'We didn't do this. Stop this.'

Megyn Kelly set to interview controversial Infowars host

"When I saw that my jaw dropped", Putin said in an interview with NBC News anchor Megyn Kelly.

Kelly's heading to Austin, Texas, to interview Infowars host Alex Jones.

Putin said it makes no sense for Russia to interfere, because he says no matter who is president, the Russians know what to expect from a USA leader. "You people are so creative over there, good job".

Unless she pursued a detailed - and highly untelegenic - discussion on details linking the hacking to Russian cyberespionage teams, it would have been tough for Kelly to challenge Putin's assertions that Russian involvement could be faked.

"Sooner rather than later, let's find out what happened and bring this to a conclusion", Blunt said on "Fox News Sunday".

"If Mr. Flynn and I had this kind of interaction, while you and I, we have spent an entire day together, and Mr. Flynn was sacked from his job, you then should be arrested and put in jail", Putin said jokingly. He said he had yet to see any evidence of Russian meddling and drew a connection between the allegations against Russia and the theory that USA intelligence agencies arranged the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

"I made my speech", Putin said, adding the two barely talked.

He said "no proposal" ever came to him from son-in-law Jared Kushner for a secret back channel communication. "I know I am walking into a trap".

The interview, which took place at the International Economic Forum in Russia on Friday, comes at a time when Putin and the Russian government have been at the forefront of American politics.

"IP addresses can be invented - a child can do that!" he also said, per NBC News. It's just that French journalists asked me about those hackers.

To make matters worse, as officers approached them, they began to drive off and police proceeded to pull them over. In 2007, he was found with a loaded handgun under the passenger seat of a vehicle he was driving in Yonkers, N.Y.

You have created a sensation out of nothing.

"They have been misled", Putin told Kelly when she told him that American intelligence agencies had concluded that Russian Federation interfered in the election in hopes of election President Donald Trump. In August 2016, Flynn told The Washington Post that he did not request to sit next to the Russian president nor did he worry about what the perception would be.

"What fingerprints?" Putin said sarcastically.

"They have been misled, and they aren't analyzing the information in its entirety", Putin told Kelly.

"This sums up my entire acquaintanceship with Mr Flynn". Putin, slouched over in his seat, scoffed at the idea. They can be in Russian Federation, in Asia - even in America - Latin America - there can even be hackers by the way in the United States who very skilfully and professionally shifted the blame on to Russian Federation.

"Why do feel you have the right to ask us these kind of questions?"

"Have you all lost your senses over there?" During the interview, Putin tried to dismiss the evidence by claiming that the United States has a history of meddling in foreign elections. Lots of powerful Americans go to Russian Federation, he added. He also brought up the U.S.' history of electoral interference before clarifying Russia saw no need to interfere in 2016, as well as repeatedly denied contact between Russian officials and Trump associates.

"Put your finger anywhere on a map of the world, and everywhere you will hear complaints that American officials are interfering in internal electoral processes", he said.

Putin said he is "deeply convinced" that no interference from outside in "such a vast and great power" as the US could influence the final outcome of the elections.
