Steve Kerr Gets Technical Originally Charged to Draymond Green in Game 4

Kyle Korver of the Cavaliers hauls down Warriors big man Zaza Pachulia whose apparent punch to the groin of Iman Shumpert is expected to get the league's attention after Friday night's Game 4 of the NBA final

Golden State forward Draymond Green says technical fouls will not determine the way he plays during the NBA Finals.Despite picking up his second technical in as many games in Cleveland on Friday, the Warriors All-Star says he will continue to play with the aggressiveness and physicality that has put the Warriors one win away from their second NBA title in three years."Aint no tech gonna stop me from being me", Green said.

However, the referees said that Green's first technical - which was given to him on the scorer's sheet and announced in the building as such - was actually on Warriors head coach Steve Kerr.

Then, in the third quarter, Green got called for a foul, and nearly immediately got another tech for his troubles, which most in the arena and on the broadcast (rightfully) assumed was the forward's second of the night, enough for an ejection. "We informed the table that it was not his technical foul".

The box was changed after the third quarter to indicate Kerr had received the first technical.

Even Draymond Green's mom was pretty sure something fishy was going on.

The score is 115-96, Cavaliers after three quarters. That cut Golden State's lead to 3-1, but as usual Green's stats were only a small chapter of his story.

Trump may block Comey testimony before Senate
Just like the travel ban litigation, it looks like Trump's mouth has again foreclosed a legal defense he may really need. A White House official later confirmed to Bloomberg that the Trump administration was reviewing the matter.

The NBA released an interview transcript with two of the officials, Mike Callahan and John Goble, after the game.

Kerr said almost the same thing as Lue - that he didn't know exactly what was going on until it was explained to him - while adding that he thought the first tech should've been called on him.

And after the game, he took a swipe at everyone in Believeland.

His technicals - the one called and the one that wasn't - overshadowed his shooting and rebounding.

"The table informed us that it was his second technical foul", Callahan told the NBA's pool reporter after the game. "In the moment, I thought I had verbalized to the table that the technical foul was on coach Kerr". With a coach or trainer, we just verbalize and at that time we should listen to the PA announcer to who it is on. "At that time, we did not do a very good job of listening to the PA announcer and we did not hear him announce it. I take full responsibly for that".

Back in the first, Green was whistled striking Iman Shumpert in the face during a jumpball, something he probably should have earned a flagrant foul for anyway.
