Mumbai: Nishit Chhaya, a Class XII CBSE student from DAV Airoli, is not sure what the moderation policy entailed but is hoping the fiasco will not negatively impact his scores that will be released on Sunday.

However it will be easier to check the result on Jagran Josh.
The delay in CBSE Result 2017 by one of the biggest boards in the country likely also led to a delay on results by other boards like ICSE and UP Board.
The results are not available at the office of CBSE Board. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was established in 1952 and is the highest school-level authority in India. Hence students can stay checking the official website to know the exact date of results.
Delhi High Court has asked CBSE to continue to follow its moderation policy of giving grace marks to students for hard questions. While question papers in subjects such as physics and accounts were hard this year, the controversy over scrapping the moderation policy has only added to their anxiety. Candidates who had appeared for the Raj Board 12th Arts exam can check the results from the direct link provided below. "Marks should be exact and fair marks should not be raised because there is competition", he said. It was an increase of 2.82% over the last year's numbers.
While it was being said that the results would be further delayed as marks would have to be calculated once again after the Delhi HC's order, a source had told PTI that moderation doesn't take too much time.
